Senator Murray Sinclair
“We should never forget… it’s part of who we are as a nation. And this nation must never forget what it once did to its most vulnerable people.”
Harbor Springs Indian Boarding School.
I have recently been in contact with someone within my tribal community that has started a non-profit for Survivors and family members of survivors of the Holy Child Hood Boarding School in Harbor Springs, Michigan. Every donation is to help with parenting classes to heal generational trauma, transportation to said classes and healing meetings for anyone effected by the residential schools. It was really important for me to help directly within my community as I have had members of my family attend this exact residential school. Clicking the pink box below will take you directly to the non-profits website to donate directly. Chi-Mii gwech for your support.
